Is the C-130 in the 60th anniversary strip part of the 773rd Blue Eagles (received a dedication) during the TV series or the 757th Blue Tigers Airlift Squadron (Caniff related insignia)?
Firstly, I am SO picking up any Steve Canyon TPBs I can find.
Secondly, that special comic was abysmal and not at all a fitting tribute to the great Milton Caniff. The art was stiff and the faces unexpressionless. Even the aircraft felt lifeless. Mr. Caniff's art was none of those things.
Some people should leave well enough alone.
