Caniff/Canyon Commemorative Hat
HATS SOLD OUT!
Front Embroidery (black hat)
This custom embroidered hat (or cap if you will) was produced by The Milton Caniff Estate for our friends and associates to wear at the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con, to commemorate Milton Caniff's 100th anniversary, and Steve Canyon's 60th. These will only be offered here for a limited time (either until we run our of stock or decide to stop reordering them). They are expensive, well-made caps and (in our humble opinion) are VERY comfortable (and as Maggie Thompson pointed out, "With a REAL sweatband, not a piece of plastic!"). At the moment they only come in this style and color ("G.I" style, "Black") 100% brushed cotton twill, with a velco closure on back, so "one size fits most". These are so expensive to produce, by the way, that it is almost not worth it to sell them at this price...but we like them SO MUCH that we are going to make them available for the time being.
$19.99 per hat plus flat rate postage (see below).

I got my DVD and hat in yesterday's mail, and what a welcome sight it was! These are great restorations! And that hat is the greatest thing since Ideal made the Steve Canyon Jet helmet! Keep up the great work.
My DVD arrived yesterday and it's great. The restoration quality is outstanding. I hope you're getting the response you need to keep moving this project forward.
Just finished watching the DVD. Very impressive restoration! I never knew the series existed, and I am glad to now watch the episodes. Very good series. When the series debuted on September 13, 1958, a few hours later I was born. So the series and I will will be 50 next year. I look forward to the rest of the series.
I've just finished watching the Operation Zero Launch and Operation B-52 episodes, and the restoration promo. All I can say is thank you, but you'll never know how utterly cool this is for me - I've been waiting almost 50 years for this, and now I understand why the TV show made such a big impression on a kid who was born in 1959 and loved airplanes. For 1959, they were unbelievable. There wasn't anything like it back then.
I have pictures taken on our Christmas morning of 1959, and the big presents that year for my brother and I were Ideal Steve Canyon helmets and Ideal Fighter Jet cockpits.
I remember being excited out of my mind to see the "Steve Canyon Returns" ads in 1960 - only to be crushed when the local ABC affiliate pre-empted the shows.
Many, many thanks for this. Be assured I will be amongst your first customers when the completed series is ready.
P.S. - I love the Steve Canyon theme song, and always have - Walter Schuman also wrote "Dragnet," I understand. Someone should convince Eric Kunzel and the Cincinatti Pops, or some similar group, to record it. Hint, hint.
Steve Canyon fans will really enjoy this DVD as will any aviation enthusiasts for the great USAF aircraft footage from the 50's.
The restoration is excellent and I highly recommend purchasing this DVD. I had the DVD shipped to Melbourne Australia no problem and can't wait for the series to be released.
I first saw this series when I was 6 years old and it resulted in a keen interest and involvement in military aviation which I have to this day. I never expected I would be able to view this series again.
Fantastic effort and congratulaitions to everyone involved in this project.

The DVD is spectacular. Great restoration work and lots of fun. I would certainly love to see more episodes. Help support this effort and treat yourself to a great DVD in the process!
My Steve Canyon Special Edition DVD arrived just a few days after I ordered it. The service was superb, and the DVD is, in a word, fantastic! The episodes are as sharp, crisp and clear as any I’ve ever seen from television shows of that period. Even perfectionists should find nothing to complain about. If these represent episodes that are not yet “fully restored,” the final release of the entire series, fully restored, should be nothing short of spectacular.
“Steve Canyon” is one of the things that inspired me to become an aerospace engineer (my other inspirations were the “Men Into Space” television series and the “Sky Masters of the Space Force” comic strip). Watching these four Steve Canyon episodes was a most enjoyable trip back in time for me. I still vividly remember a couple of episodes that are not on this Special Edition DVD, and I’m very anxious to see how accurate my memory is when the full series is released.
Kudos to John Ellis and everyone else working on this project. This DVD brought back a lot of pleasant memories for this baby boomer, and I’m waiting most impatiently for the rest of the show. Great work, guys and gals!
WOW !!! F-100s, F-102s , F-104s , MiG 15s, C-47s, B-47s , B-52s and
what else to come ? The resoration work is fantastic! Can`t wait for the rest of the series. An aviation history treasure.
Great Stuff!!!!!
Used to watch this show (on the first run) many moons ago. One of the reasons why I wanted to join the USAF back even when I was a young tyke.
Can't wait till the other episodes come out.
