Tomorrow morning be sure to catch two Steve Canyon episodes starting at 7am eastern, 4am Pacific.
First up is an early Ron Ely appearance in THE SERGEANT. You may know him as the late 60's TV Tarzan and also title character of the mid 70's DOC SAVAGE movie by George Pal. Ely gets into it with a sadistic USAF Sergeant bent on stealing something very important from Ely's character. The episode also features Abel Fernandez (later of THE UNTOUCHABLES), was wrtten by Producer David Haft, and was directed by Walter Grauman.
Next up is arguably the best episode of the Steve Canyon TV series (and the most requested), OPERATION INTERCEPT!

A freak accident kills the pilot and co-pilot of a B-47 bomber while the plane
is in flight, and the plane heads for the USSR on automatic pilot. Canyon tries
to intercept the plane and determine whether the third crew member is alive or not.
